First Kids is a non-profit, licensed Mother's Day Out Program for children ages 3 months to 5 years. We provide a Christian based curriculum and a loving environment designed to nurture your child's faith.

 

First Kids fall / spring program is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. starting the Tuesday after Labor Day and ending the Friday before Memorial Day. Parents can choose all three days or just one day. First Kids follows the Springdale Public School calendar. First Kids has an abbreviated schedule in the summer.

Enrollment
Enrollment for the summer and school year program begins in March for the upcoming summer and school year. First Kids also has open enrollment while the program is in progress. See the director for enrollment.

Communication
First Kids publishes a monthly newsletter to let parents know about upcoming events, themes, and special activities. We also send home a daily report on each child. Parents are always welcome to visit.

Special Days
First Kids has a fall party, Christmas party, and Valentine's party. We ask parents to help provide the treats for the parties.

Daily Schedule
For children in the Little Lambs class and Shining Stars class, First Kids follows a structure program which includes free play, story time, crafts, music, outside play, snack time, lunch and rest time.

Children in the Angels class follow a schedule based on their needs.

What to Bring
Each child needs a nutritious lunch. First Kids provides milk, juice and a daily snack. Little Lambs and Shining Stars need a small sheet, blanket and pillow for rest time. Mats are provided. Liners are provided for the Angels class.
